Spring Book Sale, Hunterdon County Historical Society
The nonprofit Hunterdon County Historical Society will hold its spring book sale on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside its Archive Building, 67 River Road in Raritan Township. The sale will feature a wide selection of books about townships in Hunterdon County; the history of New Jersey, and other states; biographies; and volumes on the American Revolution, the Civil War, and World War II. You’ll also find a selection of rare books and first editions. The sale includes reproductions of historic maps and posters. The society also will have copies of its newest edition of the full-color Beers Atlas available for purchase. Arrive early for the best selection. Rain date is Sunday, May 4. Cash or check is preferred.
