White Lotus Home, a Leader in Natural and Organic Home Products, Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Earth Weekend Festivities in April
White Lotus Home (www.whitelotus.net), a domestic manufacturer of natural and organic bedding products, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary from Friday, April 8 through Sunday April 10, 2011. The Earth Weekend festival will consist of eco conscience events and education – all designed to bring attention to the importance of being environmentally responsible and caring for the planet.
The following events will take place during the White Lotus Home 30th Anniversary – Earth Weekend celebration:
April 8, 2011 – 4:00pm-6:00pm: “Hands Across Highland Park”
- Kick –off event capitalizing on rush hour traffic on Route 27 in Highland Park.. Participants will join hands, forming a human chain of “hands to help the earth”. The chain starts at the White Lotus Home storefront leading towards New Brunswick.
- The first 200 participants receive a free T-shirt

April 9, 2011 – 12:00pm -4:00pm and then 7:00 pm-10:00pm: Green Product Expo & Organic Tasting
- Debra Lynn Dadd, hailed as “The Queen of Green” by the New York Times, will be presenting the keynote speech during the White Lotus Home 30th
- The Green Product Expo will allow other organic and natural products vendors to enter the White Lotus Home space and display their products to consumers.
- The event will serve as a family-friendly, organic education and include activities from crafts to a petting zoo.
- There will be a break in activities from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- The day’s activities will conclude with an “organic tasting” for adults – featuring organic wines and finger foods.
April 10, 2011 – 12:00pm – 4:00pm: Green Art Exhibit
- Organic themed artwork will be on display and available for purchase from local artists and artisans.
