Pennington Quality Market Celebrates 50th Anniversary on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th
PQM will be celebrating its 50th anniversary (1960 – 2010) on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th. As part of the celebration PQM will donate 5% of total sales to the Hopewell Valley YMCA Building Fund. On both days, volunteers from the YMCA will be at PQM with literature about all of the programs that they offer and a description of their proposed new building.
Local businesses and generous area vendors have donated great prizes for a raffle drawing, with all proceeds going to the Hopewell Valley YMCA Building Fund. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
PQM’s 50th Anniversary Festivities on Saturday, April 17th include Family Entertainment & Special Events all day long! Meet many Local Celebrity Baggers. Have fun with the Mummertime Musicians, Arnie the Balloon Man & Wayne the World’s Tallest Clown. Enjoy Free Food Tastings throughout the Market, and a spectacular 50th Anniversary Cake (Cake Cutting at 12:30 P. M.). You can also enjoy a Boar’s Head Hot Dog and a Coke for just $1.00 – with all proceeds benefiting the Hopewell Valley YMCA Building Fund. WPST Radio Remote will be at PQM 12:00 Noon to 2 PM.
