Oops Sale @Dandelion Wishes March 15 & 16

OOPS! SALE.jpg
?

What is an OOPS sale? Well, none of us are perfect! Sometimes I order too much of something. Sometimes an artist makes too much of something. And sometimes we might have something that did not quite turned out as planned....but it's wonderful all the same!

Our OOPS is your chance for BIG savings! AND a chance to peek at our new space in its "before" state! We are still in the pre-construction permitting and design phase. So why not DO something with the empty space for a weekend!

I will have assorted merchandise from the shop, including a lot of greeting cards. Three local artists from dandelion wishes will be joining me in the space with their own OOPS Sales. Martha Doemland makes beautiful bowls, vessels and boards from downed wood found in the Sourlands. Janneke Van Der Ree is a talented quilter and fiber artist from Pennington. Due to her schedule, Janneke will not be at the sale herself, but her work will be. Caryn Newman, the artist behind the popular Willowood Pottery in Ewing will also be there with a large selection from her own studio, so she can make room for new pots!

The Sale will be held Saturday, March 15 from 11-6 & Sunday March 16th from 11-4, at 33 West Broad Street, just down the block from our current location. If we get hit with really bad weather, we will reschedule for the following weekend. Updates will be posted on our social media and we will send an email.

Loyalty points/rewards can not be accrued OR spent at the OOPS Sale. No holds or rainchecks. All sales are FINAL.

2025 Buying Update

Dana and Heidi had a great time attending the inagural MADE Our Show in Baltimore last month. The show was put together by artists after the longstanding American Handcrafted show was permanently cancelled in 2023, leaving the wholesale American Craft market without a national show.

We met so many wonderful people and saw so much amazing work! The show may have been smaller than "giants" like NYNOW - but it was truly quality over quantity, and everything was handcrafted in North America. It really felt like a love-fest of American Craft, and it was amazing to be a part of. And given our current political climate, it was especially comforting to be in the "safe space" of American Craft.

Below are just a few of the new artists whose work will be coming to dandelion wishes in the coming months! Camille Kohler, of Cameoko Jewelry, Cindy Liebel, Jenny Woods, creator of High Strung Studios, and Noel and Eric, the lead artists behind Z-Pots. All together at the show, we found 8 new artists for the shop, and wrote orders from many of our current artists as well.
